It’s fairly obvious by the above image that some of us at Kezins are not big fans of the insane ramblings of Zero Punctuation. Despite our lack of positive feelings for the videos, they seem to continue their popularity. The fact that nearly every episode of Zero Punctuation makes it to the front page of Digg.com certainly says that there’s a lot of people who continue to support the series. Hopefully no one takes this too seriously. We’re just poking fun at Yahtzee who seems to poke fun at all games. If you’ve never seen one of the crazy videos we’re talking about, here’s an example:

Regardless of what people might say, Banjo-Kazooie has been a good series that, while definitely inferior to the Mario franchise (but which isn’t?), showed off what a great developer Rare was. They’ve had their fair share of duds (i.e. Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo), but this year might be good for the British team.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is due November 18 to the tune of a surprisingly cheap $39.99. As an incentive for pre-ordering the game, buyers will get a code to download the original N64 Banjo-Kazooie two weeks prior to the release of the XBLA re-release…for free.

We kind of like the idea of getting free stuff when we pre-order games around here, especially when the full game is $20 cheaper than the bloated regular price of other titles.

You guys plan on taking Rare up on their pre-order offer? Here’s a video of what you can look forward to if you do:

Fatal Frame IV has finally been given an official release date.  On July 31, the game will hit shelves in Japan.  Fatal Frame IV is perhaps one of the few unreleased Wii games that I am really excited about currently.  Unfortunately, there’s no word on the North American release for the game.  Rumors have stated that the game will be called “Zero” when and if it gets released here in the states.  If you haven’t checked out the information on this title, I suggest you do so.  Survival horror will probably never be better on the Wii.

I’ve honestly never been a fan of Zero Punctuation or The Escapist. The first few episodes of ZP were slightly entertaining, but they have gotten terribly predictable and boring. Zero Punctuation is obviously meant to be funny, but it’s really starting to get old. What’s the point in bitching about every aspect of practically every game they review? Grand Theft Auto IV isn’t the greatest video game ever, but it’s certainly up there with some of the best. He mentions having to waste time driving people all over the city, which obviously means he has no clue about the taxi system. Why waste time driving people around when you can take a taxi and get anywhere in a couple seconds?
