On the Opie and Anthony Show, Mick “Mankind” Foley spoke about leaving the WWE due to indifference’s with Vince McMahon. As a result, Mick Foley has been removed from the WWE: LOW roster.

It seems like no matter how much of a “Legend” you are, if you piss off Vince McMahon you will be blacklisted out of all things ‘WWE’. Although ‘WWE: Legends of Wrestlemania’ roster has not been finalized, it has been announced that Mick Foley will not appear in the video game.   Reports are that Mick Foley was going to be a playable character, but very shortly after his departure from WWE he was removed.  Live on the Opie and Anthony Radio show in NYC’s 92.3 K-Rock, Mick Foley openly spoke about leaving the WWE due to an altercation with Vince McMahon. To continue, Mick Foley mentioned that he will be starting his new wrestling career at TNA.

Here is the latest info for THQ’s wrestling game, WWE Legends of Wrestlemania, found on 411mania:

Have to admit, after playing Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008 I was a little disappointed to find out there weren’t a lot of Legend Wrestlers, so I returned it.  I may be old school, but I’m glad THQ came up with this version of WWE’s Legends of Wrestlemania.  It’s one to pick up… and keep.  Screens alone bring back memories of Wrestlemania III.

Coming in March 2009 to the PS3 and X360.

  • DISTINGUISHED ROSTER AND MANAGERS: More than 40 larger-than-life WWE Legends. Legendary Managers will also have extensive functionality, playing important roles in match outcomes.
  • ABSOLUTE REALISM: Embrace a historically accurate representation of WWE telecasts from the Eighties and Nineties, including dynamic visual treatments, signature ring entrances, renowned commentators, notable venues and much more.
  • COMBO FIGHTING SYSTEM: Explore a new, grapple-based fighting system that captures the high-energy action and drama seen in historic WWE matches. Players will have each Legend’s arsenal of grapple moves, strike attacks, reversals and taunts at their disposal throughout a variety of current and nostalgic match types.
  • WRESTLEMANIA TOUR MODE: Participate in key matches from multiple WrestleMania events. Vintage WWE footage will set up matches, explain feuds and detail the rivalries behind them, situating players in the heart of each contest.
  • CREATE-A-LEGEND: Create the Legends of tomorrow, complete with customizable costumes, entrances, move sets and more.
  • ONLINE FUNCTIONALITY: Challenge players around the world to matches on the biggest stages in WWE history.

To join the forces of Smackdown Vs Raw, WWE Legends of Wrestlmania will tag team the other wrestling games in a “No Holds Barred” event. If you’ve ever loved playing as the Honkey Tonk Man or Papa Shango then you’re going to love WWE’s Legends of Wrestlmania. THQ could have wreslting gold in their hands, if they include those old timer’s that everyone loves. Who would you like to see in this game? I will personally give points from 1 - 5 for the most creative wrestler’s mentioned.

Nothing much to write about these new screens except, WOW.  The TNA franchise right now has a following of the old school ECW.  Where the real wrestling fans know about them, but mainstream media has not covered them as much as WWE.  Check out the screens below:

To me, there is just something I enjoy about a good wraslin game. Smackdown vs. Raw’s images look as sweet at 2008’s edition with an updated roster of course. The online function of 2009 should be better now that they had a full swing at online gaming. My dilema in 2008 was the lack of old school wrestler’s, hopefully with cheat codes they’ll bring back Coco BeWare.

From these pics it looks like John Cena will be the cover man again. Although Randy Orton is the wrestler of the future.
