Microsoft has just released a new commercial featuring Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates. Where’s Windows, or any other product for that matter? It doesn’t matter, says the PR expert. In this day and age, you only need to be smart and out there.
Microsoft reportedly paid Seinfeld $11.47 million to boost Vista. They sure need a boost, but is an $11.47 million Seinfeld the solution? After Bee Movie, I guess I’m not surprised with what Jerry Seinfeld does nowadays. Ah well, we still got nine seasons of his TV show “Seinfeld”, only the best sit com ever made, to remember him by. Edit: Apparently, Sony Pictures Television thinks the show still has legs and have launched a “Seinfeld Campus Tour”.
It looks like Microsoft finally picked up on the obvious hint from consumers that they prefer Windows XP over Vista. In an interesting move, they have decided to extend support for XP. Security updates and patches will be available for XP through 2014 and we may see some support beyond that. It also looks like Windows 7 will be released in 2010, which will probably cause instant death for Vista.
No mention was made, but I am curious if this means we may see some extended DirectX support. If that’s the case, this is great news for all gamers. I’m just surprised it took Microsoft so long to realize that Vista was an epic fail…
I didn’t realize strip poker games were still popular, but obviously I was wrong. Red Lips Games has released two screens from their new game ‘Western Strip Poker’. The game is available via digital download from the Red Lips Games site. The game is available for Windows or Mac. Western Strip Poker is a new remake of the classic computer poker games designed in an old style “wild west era”. Two screens have recently surfaced from the game and are located below. For those of you expecting nude screens, you have to purchase the game and prove your age to see that.
