Want to get the same sense of euphoria from “breaking the bank” — via card counting and otherwise — in Vegas (as depicted in the “meh” movie “21“) without risking your mortgage payments and possible imprisonment?

Fable II - Pub Games is giving you the opportunity to do it now on Xbox 360 — from this writer’s perspective, anyway. The game’s “cheat” definitely gives you the constant feeling of a certain “high” from glitchin’ your way to the top!

Have you guys tried it? Trust us, the sauce is oh-so-sweet…here’s how to do it:

  • First, you’ll have to legitimately win about 200 coins in the first Fortune’s Tower minigame, but soonafter you can amass your huge treasure chest quickly.
  • Move on to the next tables where the maximum bets go from 30, 90, etc.
  • The goal is to get to the 150-1500 table (where the BIG bucks come in).
  • Set your bet at the minimum the table allows every time and right after you press A for “Deal,” at the beginning of each game, press LB (Left Bumper). Doesn’t have to be lighting fast, as long as you hit it before the cards are dealt out you’ll be fine.
  • The game will “glitch” and show that you’re betting the maximum bet, but you’re really only betting the minimum if you lose and winning at max bet.
  • Rinse and repeat.

The money you make in Pub Games will transfer over to your Fable II game when it releases. If you guys want to get your own high on, better hurry, as Lionhead is planning on updating the game to void the bug in the near future.

Wired first found the glitch a couple weeks ago.

Midway’s upcoming open-world game set in Las Vegas is your meal ticket to fun after hours on the strip.  This is Vegas’ has a Grand Theft Auto feel to it, with a pinch of PlayStation 3’s ‘Home’.  It’s coming to the X360, PS3, and PC in early 2009.  If this game comes with hookers, crack, and counterfeit money I’d pay $89.99 for the “Special Edition”.  Let it Riiide…

If you were wondering about the new Star Trek MMO, it looks like gameplay will be revealed on August 10, 2008 at the Annual Star Trek Convention in Vegas. If you can’t show up for the event, the new gameplay will also be unveiled online (www.startrekonline.com). I’m certainly excited to find out more about this game. Being a huge Star Trek fan, I have felt let down in the past by the piles of mediocre ST games. I’ve already heard a few good things about the game from the Cryptic camp, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that this gameplay video will knock our socks off. The game was initially announced back in 2004 under development by Perpetual Entertainment. Perpetual folded in early 2008 and the game was nearly complete from what I understand…

The faint yell you’ve heard in ALL 6 Star Wars films is the legendary scream called ‘The Wilhelm Scream’. After playing Grand Theft Auto, Metal Gear Solid 4 and God of War I and II, I can confirm the infamous scream is also in video games. After reading up on the history of ‘The Wilhelm Scream’ it seems it has been used in 170 movies, 15 TV shows and 26 38 37 48 53 56 Video Games. That sound is so noticeable that when I hear it on any media, I’ll instantly look at my wife for confirmation. Then we both ask “This movie has it too?”

Below are the list of video games that include ‘The Wilhelm Scream’:

  2. Army Of Two (During the China cutscene)
