I haven’t had the chance to check out ‘Sudden Strike 3: Arms for Victory’, but the assets I receive always seem to be interesting.  Today, three new images surfaced showing off some unit pics from the game.  Fans of the Sudden Strike series may be pleased to find out that the new game has gone to a 3D style engine.  Some people may need to upgrade their computers if they plan to enjoy this one.  Most reports state that the game plays sluggish on dated systems.  It looks like 3Ghz will be the standard for playing this title.

Velvet Assassin (previous, working title: Sabotage) is an upcoming stealth action video game for Xbox 360 and PC to be released on October 17th, 2008. The game is inspired by a real life World War II secret agent/saboteur Violette Szabo. Players take on the role of Violette Summer as she goes behind enemy lines to thwart the German war machine.

In Velvet Assassin, players assume the role of Violette Summer and head deep behind enemy lines with no support or official backing from the British Government. Violette risks her life fighting to defeat the German war machine one stealth mission at a time. Velvet Assassin combines lush, surreal visuals and a ground-breaking stealth combat system to deliver a gaming experience which is truly the first of its kind.

I’ve been a big fan of Roblox since it came out. For those of you who have never heard of the game, it’s basically a free virtual playworld for kids. Even though it’s for kids, I still find a lot of enjoyment with the game. If you love LEGOs, you’ll certainly love this game. Check out the game’s website sometime!  The following video shows an interesting creation of a soccer game with Roblox.  We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on new videos, considering the possibilities are endless with the title…

Rise of The Argonauts coming to PS3, X360, and PC September 30th, 2009 resembles a little exclusive title for the PS2 called God of War. Can Jason compete vs Kratos?

We love our ancient Greek mythology, so when we smell anything that stenches of old leather sandals we want in.   Check out why we believe the video below will have Kratos shivering in his cold cladded chains.

We’ll all get a chance to play FaceBreaker on September 5. This will be the first good “cartoony” boxing title we’ve seen in a very long time. So far, all the screenshots and gameplay videos look great. If you happen to own a Wii, there will also be a different version of the game titled FaceBreaker K.O. Party released for that console.

‘Dark Horizon’ keeps looking better and better with each new trailer. Some have compared the space combat simulation to Wing Commander and Freelancer. With a rich plot and 22 missions, this game may actually end up being one of the best space combat games we have ever seen. We expect to see the title on shelves at the end of this month for the PC.

After checking out the above video, I realized TrackMania may actually be a pretty good title for the Nintendo DS.  I’m typically against most portable racing games, but this one looks really nice.   It’s great that they continue releasing gameplay videos for the title, because screenshots rarely work as a good visual for portable games.  With more than 100 tracks, this game should provide plenty of action.

Capcom confirms Bionic Commando: Rearmed coming to North America XBLA August 13th and PSN August 14.

Well it’s official folks. Capcom has just confirmed that Bionic Commando Rearmed has release dates.  Xbox 360 user’s will get it a day earlier on August 13th for 800 points.  The next day the unfortunate PSN gamers will get BC: Rearmed on August 14th for $10.00.

Bionic Commando Rearmed is one of the best digital games you will ever play. Believe me, you’re more than going to get your money’s worth out of this particular title. I’ve been playing around with it for months now, but I’ve been putting off spending too much time with it for two reasons: a) I want the Achiements (sad, but true) and b) I want to play the full game, start to finish. We’re very happy to officially let you guys know that in North America (for sure) you’ll be able to get your own Bionic Commando on Wednesday, August 13 (Xbox LIVE Arcade, 800 points) and/or Thursday, August 14 (PlayStation Network, $10 ). W00t!

Title - Rock Band

Release Date - June 22, 2008

Platform - Nintendo Wii

Developer - Harmonix Music Systems

Publisher - MTV Games

Distributor - EA Distribution

Rating - “T” for Teen

I have been a huge Rock Band fan since the day it originally came out. Rock Band is the primary reason I completely lost interest in Guitar Hero actually. It took them long enough, but they finally released Rock Band for the Wii. If you currently own a PS3 or Xbox 360, there’s not a single reason in the world to purchase Rock Band for the Wii. While it’s still a good game on the Wii, it has been stripped down to function properly and you will notice a huge difference between this version and the PS3/360 version.

Gameplay Gameplay has been stripped down considerably for this version.  One serious change is the fact that there’s no Band World Tour mode.  With the Wii version, you are basically playing with a straightforward song progression style, much like music games of the past.  The fun of downloading songs is also gone with this version.   Continue reading »
