‘Dark Horizon’ keeps looking better and better with each new trailer. Some have compared the space combat simulation to Wing Commander and Freelancer. With a rich plot and 22 missions, this game may actually end up being one of the best space combat games we have ever seen. We expect to see the title on shelves at the end of this month for the PC.

Halo’s ‘Chill Out’ Remake Bound for Xbox Live — FREE

July 3, 2008

Bungie’s third Halo game has been regulated to second place in the Xbox 360 online space for a while now by a certain future-proof’ed Call of Duty, but it sure loves its fans.

In a move that Microsoft will likely see as a missed economic opportunity, the remake of the Chill Out map from the Halo 1 days, Cold Storage, will be available for FREE on July 7, according to Bungie.net.

Luke Smith also talks a bit about an interesting throwback wrench being thrown into Halo 3’s online game play on Bungie Day:

“Beginning on July 7, there will be a 48-hour long seven-player FFA playlist in Halo 3’s Matchmaking where you can turn the calendar back to 2001 and control l Rockets, Invis and Snipe.”

Dead Space: 11 New Screens

June 18, 2008

11 new screens for Dead Space have surfaced and they look sweet as expected.  For those of you unfamiliar with the title, this is EA’s 3rd-person action game scheduled to be released this October.  In the game, you take on the role of Isaac Clark, a space engineer on an intergalactic mining ship called the Ishimura.  Obviously being in space there will be plenty of aliens to battle.  Some may also consider the title to be a space-horror game as well.  Enjoy the screens!

See Kim Kardashian From Space

June 13, 2008

Ninja Warrior: The Game

June 10, 2008

We’ve been waiting a while for the Ninja Warrior video game and it’s finally here. While it does provide a little challenge, the game itself probably should have been tweaked a little more before being released. For a free flash game, there’s really not much I can complain about though. The sound effects are interesting and certainly get you in the Ninja Warrior mood. Any fan of the show will probably find this game enjoying for short bursts.  Being good at the game completely depends on your ability to time jumps.  When jumping over a gap, you almost have to press the space bar after you have already stepped off the edge.
