The game we’ve been waiting several years for is just about ready to be unleashed on the world. To check out the first official trailer and webcast for the game, check out www.StarTrekOnline.com.  The video and webcast were first shown at the annual Star Trek convention in Las Vegas over the weekend.  Set in the year 2409, you will be able to captain a Federation or Klingon ship throughout the known galaxy.  Many Star Trek games have failed in the past, but I have a really good feeling about this one.

Kotaku reports, according to rumblings at Comic Con, that there might be another game set in the Jet Set Radio universe coming for Nintendo’s Wii. The rumor comes from Sega registering a new “Jet Grind Radio” trademark and points to a possible new iteration of the game.

The original Jet Grind Radio ran well on the almost-decade old Dreamcast– pre, pre “two duct taped Gamecubes” — so it should run beautifully on the Wii. Especially since the original game wasn’t exactly graphically intensive as current gen fare.

If you never got a chance to enjoy the brilliance of the original Jet Set Radio, Jet Grind Radio in the States, here’s a clip of what you missed:

This writer didn’t even know there was a GBA version, so he’ll be scouring the interwebs for a copy of the game for a bit…

A leaked set list is almost never exactly like the final product, but it gives a pretty good idea of what to expect.  The Guitar Hero IV: World Tour set list was leaked and it doesn’t look too bad.  When Rock Band came out, I had mentioned to people that my Guitar Hero days were over.  With the additional of superior drums, it looks like GH is going to take the music game crown back in the near future.  Check out the list after the jump!

Silicon Knights’ game has been in development for years — across multiple console generations — and it looks like it might need some more time in the cooker, or at least, according to recent previews of the game.

Some of the complaints across MTV, Wired, and IGN are that the game is too short (about 10 hours), uneven game and storywise, and that while Too Human’s combat shines at times, it can be repetitive and frustrating.

This writer was definitely looking forward to the game, but now will take a more cautious approach when walking by it in stores. Might just have to save those $60 previously reserved for Silicon Knights’ baby…

Latest info is that Sony will not release this Firmware update until closer to E3. What a better way to greet all the E3 nerds than to say, “You’re here and you can’t see the firmware we just released to everyone else.” Unless they’re flying to LA with their PS3’s… doubt it or they go to the Sony booth, damn you E3 nerds!!!. Anywho, Here’s what you can expect through XMB:
