You’d think that being $50 cheaper than a Wii now would boost Microsoft’s expectations and hopes for its system’s success sky high. Apparently not, as Microsoft’s Senior Vice President of Interactive Enterainment Business, Don Mattrick, told BusinessWeek:

“I’m not at a point where I can say we’re going to beat Nintendo,” Mattrick said, followed closely by a big BUT “We will sell more consoles this generation than Sony.”

Settling for second place? Might it just be a clever rouse to lower expectations and be pleasantly surprised if the system takes over Nintendo’s current lead? While it seems unlikely…who knows what kind of damage the $199 Xbox 360 Arcade unit will do when holiday shoppers this year can’t find themselves a Wii of their own.

Eversim has just released Geo-Political Simulator, or G.P.S., upon the masses and promises to provide gamers with the most authentic power-hungry simulation you can find.

The player chooses a country he wants to control as the President, monarch, etc. and will make choices that will affect the economics and political structure of the chosen nation. From the press release that French developer Eversim sent over, it looks like an interesting little game that they hope to keep as updated as possible with frequent patches that reflect what happens in our world.

Here’s a video of the refreshingly unique game:

If that title disgusts you, you’re definitely with us on this one.  The following picture is of a pin that was being sold at the Texas Republican convention.  Does it surprise me?  Not really.  As gamers, who we vote for may not make a huge impact on the videogame industry, but it’s certainly a choice between voting for World War III or voting for new ideas.  I’m not sure how many of these pins were sold, but I assume there weren’t many left at the end of the night.  As a side note, they were also selling pins that said “Press 1 for English.  Press 2 for Deportation.”  I definitely think it’s time for some changes…

Resistance 2 is basing their success on the aforementioned 4 C’s. Expect Co-op online multiplayer with 60 players on a single map.

I just discovered one of the funniest videos I have ever seen.  In the video, several British dudes attempt to travel through Alabama without getting shot or arrested.  The catch is that they also try to bring as much attention to themselves as possible.  With things like “NASCAR Sucks”, “Hillary For President” and “Man Love Rules” written on the side of their vehicles, I’m shocked they actually made it out alive.  The video does end in a sad note when they finally escape their Alabama adventure and end up in New Orleans.  They made a comment about how they thought the richest country in the world should have been able to rebuild the areas there and help the people of New Orleans with all the time that has passed.  But this is America and people have to realize we have long term memory loss.

“Listen Obama, take off those coke bottles and ‘choke hold’ those Republicans”

At Kezins.com, we do not talk religion, politics or salary.  I can’t say that for Star Wars conversations, and all the “What If’s” we ask each other… daily.  So, when you throw Star Wars into the mix, we’ll write about it.  Don’t kill the messenger but George Lucas has some strong comments, and I only understand them when he speaks ‘Star Wars’.  Correct he may be.

George Lucas has created legendary film heroes like Luke Skywalker and Indiana Jones, but the US director says that in real life, his hero is Barack Obama.

Lucas was in Japan on Wednesday to promote his latest film, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” as Obama clinched the Democratic Party’s nomination for president.

“We have a hero in the making back in the United States today because we have a new candidate for president of the United States, Barack Obama,” Lucas said when asked who his childhood heroes were.

Obama, “for all of us that have dreams and hope, is a hero,” Lucas said.

Lucas is the creator of the blockbuster “Star Wars” series, as well as the adventures of the swashbuckling archaeologist Indiana Jones, played by Harrison Ford.

Obama on Tuesday sealed the Democratic contest after a marathon battle with Hillary Clinton, becoming the first black White House candidate nominated by a major party.

Many say the ‘Chosen One’ in his movies was indeed Luke Skywalker, and some people think it’s still Vader since he single-handedly (pun intended) threw Emperor Palpatine down the Vent Shaft.  So is he right this time with Obama?
