The biggest story of the day has to do with the announcement of the Nintnedo DSi at today’s Nintendo press conference. While the system certainly sounds exciting, they might not be starting off on the right foot by offering Brain Age and Brain Age 2 as the first DLC games. These will be titles re-designed just for the DSi and it should be interesting to find out how downloadable games will work with the system. I just expected the first titles to be a little more appealing.
I’m not sure why Microsoft hasn’t bothered investing time and resources in developing a decent portable system. Perhaps they fear that Nintendo and Sony already own too much of the market. Regardless, I think it’s foolish for Microsoft to avoid the portable gaming market. A portable Xbox device that worked hand-in-hand with the Xbox 360 or Xbox 720 would be a gamer’s dream.
Some people have stated that Microsoft will not make a portable game system because they fear that it would take away from Zune sales. I find that a little hard to believe considering the Zune isn’t a great portable “gaming” option.

Once setup, You will receive your personal PLAYSTATION®Network portable ID. It displays who you are on the PLAYSTATION®Network to other users. It can also identify you on other social networking sites.

‘Mana-Khemia: Gakuen no Renkinjutsu Shitachi Portable’ will be shipping at the end of this month. If you didn’t get a chance to play the PS2 version, the PSP port is a great option. The official website has been updated with new information concerning gameplay and 2-player mode. Apparently the game will support 2-players via ad hoc.
