I love the United States, but it’s certainly a country that needs a ton of change.  The following sign is proof that we still have tons of ignorance floating around.  The sad thing is that people actually believe what’s on this sign.  I’m voting for Obama to get some change in this country.  Signs like the one below are certainly another good reason to vote for him.

Last night, Jon Stewart had the chance to talk with Michelle Obama to get an insider’s view of her husband’s presidential campaign.

What continually amazes me about the Daily Show is the fact that their show is actually more honest than real news shows. Fortunately we only have less than a month of this election fiasco to bear. Obama will be our next president and McCain will hopefully be a name of the past.

This has to be one of the best episodes of ‘The Daily Show With Jon Stewart’ in some time. This episode focuses on Palin’s insane claims that Obama is somehow connected to terrorism. We may be in the middle of the most absurd election in history (on the Republican side of things) and it’s fortunate we have shows like this to throw a little humor into the mix. They even break down “the stupid” with a pie-chart which is something I think should have been done long ago.

Saints Row 2 is the follow-up to the GTA styled sanbox-styled Action Adventure game.  Our future political leaders even have a home in Saints Row 2!

Prior talks on the first Saints Row porting over to the PS3 broke down earlier this year. Speculation was due to Saints Row 2’s (SR2) development on both X360 and PS3. I know many say that SR2 has similarities to Grand Theft Auto, and they’re right. But Saints Row 2 is looking to push the envelope a tad more. Could be good, could be very good. I think putting John McCain and Barrack Obama will create controversy. Their actions in the game will be magnified, and I hope they don’t make them do anything too crazy. I guess we’ll see come October 14th.

Dap is one of those interesting words with numerous meanings. We have yet to find a real reason to use the first meaning in the online environment, but we’ll eventually find the reason. Dap is basically a fist-on-fist greeting used to show respect. Back in the 1990s, we’d say “give me some dap” all the time, but the word eventually faded from common use. The online meaning for dap or d.a.p. happens to be “dumb ass person”, which is probably the form of the word we could still use on a daily basis. For example, “Jack Thompson is a d.a.p.”. The above image shows the future President of the United States giving his wife some dap. Sorry McCain, but we already know you lost. We’re really not sorry, but it sounded like the right thing to say.

The definition of “dap” according to The Free DIctionary obviously has nothing to do with the urban slang form of the word we use. It’s just simply a cool word and we’d like to bring it back.

dap (dp)

intr.v. dapped, dap·ping, daps

1. To fish by letting a baited hook fall gently onto the water.
2. To dip lightly or quickly into water, as a bird does.
3. To skip or bounce, especially over the surface of water.

In the upcoming election, it is a battle of image; it is also a battle of ego versus inspiration. In terms of preserving our young republic, we are a critical moment, will we be the industrious, innovative trail blazers of the past, or will we continue to run the country into the ground with ‘ego’ based policy.
You are probably wondering what I mean by ‘ego’ based policy. To me, it means a policy that is based on pride and posturing. It is a mentality of adolescence. In my middle school years, I would get in a fight over a crush with a friend, or would let the air out of a friend’s tires for disagreeing on where to go in a friendly bike ride. What is my point? The point is, those things are a normal part of development if you are 12 years old. Those types of behavior are not normal if you are the leader of the presumed powerhouse of the world.

John McCain has made it clear through his posturing that he wants to expand the U.S. Empire. He has made it clear that he is willing to attack a country based on minor insults or upon a rumor of hearing something he feels is disrespectful. Like I said, that is ok if you are 12 years old, the problem is, there are no ‘take backs’ when the missiles start to fly.

If that title disgusts you, you’re definitely with us on this one.  The following picture is of a pin that was being sold at the Texas Republican convention.  Does it surprise me?  Not really.  As gamers, who we vote for may not make a huge impact on the videogame industry, but it’s certainly a choice between voting for World War III or voting for new ideas.  I’m not sure how many of these pins were sold, but I assume there weren’t many left at the end of the night.  As a side note, they were also selling pins that said “Press 1 for English.  Press 2 for Deportation.”  I definitely think it’s time for some changes…

“Listen Obama, take off those coke bottles and ‘choke hold’ those Republicans”

At Kezins.com, we do not talk religion, politics or salary.  I can’t say that for Star Wars conversations, and all the “What If’s” we ask each other… daily.  So, when you throw Star Wars into the mix, we’ll write about it.  Don’t kill the messenger but George Lucas has some strong comments, and I only understand them when he speaks ‘Star Wars’.  Correct he may be.

George Lucas has created legendary film heroes like Luke Skywalker and Indiana Jones, but the US director says that in real life, his hero is Barack Obama.

Lucas was in Japan on Wednesday to promote his latest film, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” as Obama clinched the Democratic Party’s nomination for president.

“We have a hero in the making back in the United States today because we have a new candidate for president of the United States, Barack Obama,” Lucas said when asked who his childhood heroes were.

Obama, “for all of us that have dreams and hope, is a hero,” Lucas said.

Lucas is the creator of the blockbuster “Star Wars” series, as well as the adventures of the swashbuckling archaeologist Indiana Jones, played by Harrison Ford.

Obama on Tuesday sealed the Democratic contest after a marathon battle with Hillary Clinton, becoming the first black White House candidate nominated by a major party.

Many say the ‘Chosen One’ in his movies was indeed Luke Skywalker, and some people think it’s still Vader since he single-handedly (pun intended) threw Emperor Palpatine down the Vent Shaft.  So is he right this time with Obama?
