European gamers will get the chance to check out ‘Table Football’ on the Wii tomorrow when it’s released. It’s a shame there’s no North American release scheduled at this time. Table football or foosball as we call it in the states is probably one of the greatest social games ever invented next to beer pong.

There’s been some rumor-mongering on the interwebs (when isn’t there?) about the possible release date for Final Fantasy XIII. The article, which has since been pulled, pointed to the now non-PS3 exclusive releasing in Japan next summer and making it out to North American by the end of the year.
It seems likely that that’s the time table for the game as Square Enix recently announced that they’re packing in a demo of the game in the upcoming Bluray Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete next year. So…they have been working on something, it just takes time, patient gamers, it takes time.
Fatal Frame IV has finally been given an official release date. On July 31, the game will hit shelves in Japan. Fatal Frame IV is perhaps one of the few unreleased Wii games that I am really excited about currently. Unfortunately, there’s no word on the North American release for the game. Rumors have stated that the game will be called “Zero” when and if it gets released here in the states. If you haven’t checked out the information on this title, I suggest you do so. Survival horror will probably never be better on the Wii.
For $29.99 SRP, DECA SPORTS is actually a pretty good buy. I’m sure most of you are completely burnt out on Wii Sports by now and this new game is certainly something of some substance adding to existing sports titles on the console. Hudson Entertainment should do well with the sales of DECA SPORTS, despite some less than stellar reviews of the game. Some people may view the game as a cheap attempt to cash in on the mini sports game craze, but for $29.99, what do you really expect? The gameplay is a bit sloppy, but it’s still a fun title. If you decide to hold off on purchasing the game, I’m sure it will be $19.99 at any Wal-Mart bargain bin in a couple months.
REDWOOD CITY, CA May 13, 2008 - Hudson Entertainment, the North American publishing arm for HUDSON SOFT, today announced that DECA SPORTS, a unique ten-sport game, exclusive to Wii, is now available at retail for $29.99 SRP. Combining ten sporting events into one game, players can compete in beach volleyball, snowboard cross, badminton, basketball, curling, figure skating, archery, supercross, soccer and kart racing.

The 4 NEW Maps are:
- Creek
- Broadcast
- Killhouse
- Chinatown
I just caught a great article posted on Gaming Today for the new COD4 maps available for the US via DLC on April 24th. For our Eurpean viewers, you guys will have to wait one week more, May 1st, to experience the awesomeness. With the release of the new map packs be sure to expect some server issues as everyone who owns a PS3 will be trying to play on the new maps. Problem is they are on a shuffle schedule, and I can never tell which map is coming up next. Annoying.
In addition to the new maps being released, Infinity Ward Developers will be showcasing their talents on April 25th. You can catch them online from 8pm EDT to 11pm EDT. Oh boy, would I Like to get those Dev’s in “Shipment” and melee them with knives (to thank them of course for THE Best FPS)

“To celebrate the release of both map packs we will be hosting a Double XP weekend for North America from 12:01 AM PDT on Friday, April 25 to 11:59 PM PDT on Sunday, April 27. North American players will be able to play the new maps against members of the Infinity Ward team on Friday, April 25 from 5 PM to 8 PM PDT.
We’ll also be hosting another special Double XP and Play With Devs event for our worldwide / European users specifically. For our European fans, we will have a Double XP weekend beginning at 12:01 AM GMT on Friday, May 2 and concluding at 11:59 PM GMT on Sunday, May 4. You will also get a chance to play the new maps against the IW team on Friday, May 2 from 7 PM GMT to 10 PM GMT. That way you guys aren’t left out due to conflicting time zones!”
