New screens from LEGO Batman have been released and they look really good.  LEGO Indiana Jones was a bit of a let down, but I have a feeling LEGO Batman will be an extremely fun title with great characters.  Check out all the new images at the via link below:

Tomorrow’s PS3 Update will include the addition of trophies.  This will basically be Sony’s version of Microsoft Achievements.  While I know many people are excited about this, I could honestly care less.  It’s a cheap marketing ploy just like the system Microsoft has in place.  If you think gamerscore and achievements mean a lot, you probably have an inflated gaming ego anyway.  It has been my opinion for a long time that achievements actually tend to ruin the fun in games, particularly online achievements.  Many gamers are inclined to change the way they play just to obtain these fake credentials.  The simple fact is that achievements and trophies are designed to get players to buy more games and play the games they have longer than they normally would.  Some developers are also inclined to include easily obtained achievements to sell a game that normally wouldn’t sell at all…

New Halo Wars images have been floating around the net and we finally tracked them down. There’s nothing mind blowing here, but it’s an interesting look at some of the things to look forward to. I didn’t expect Warthogs with paint jobs, but I am sure there will be many surprises with this game.

SIREN:Blood Curse screens have surfaced thanks to our Sony PSN rep.  This 12 episodic thriller will be coming Summer of ‘08. Sony’s decision to go with episodes rather than a disk release is a risk. If their first release is a hit, then Sony can expect at least the next 2 or 3 episodes to be downloaded.  On the other hand, if it’s a failure SIREN will be short lived. By the screens below, I’m saying at least the visuals will get PSN subscribers interested in the first couple episodes.

We’re less than 34 days away from the release of the highly anticipated Soul Calibur 4. The good people over at Rocket XL have released a new widget that we were extremely excited about. The widget allows you to view various clips, screenshots and extras from the game. Hopefully we’ll be reviewing the title in the near future. I have many fond memories from the series and it looks like this installment will be by far the best one yet.

This is the WORST song EVER!  I know that even mentioning the song will get the girl more attention than she deserves but it’s like a fart.  Even though it stinks, you invite everyone over for a whiff.  So smell away and laugh at the assclown.

It’s Heidi Montag of The Hills fame, singing ‘Fashion’.  Please, listen to the words!  Disclaimer: We’re not responsible if this song causes instant death or bleeding from the ears!

Two new games have been added to the Xbox LIVE Arcade today.  The first game is ‘Elements of Destruction’ from THQ, where you get to take on the role of mother nature and manipulate the weather to cause chaos and destruction. Think of Sim City without having to balance the budget. The second is ‘Sea Life Safari’ from Sierra which is basically similar to Pokemon Snap.

11 new screens for Dead Space have surfaced and they look sweet as expected.  For those of you unfamiliar with the title, this is EA’s 3rd-person action game scheduled to be released this October.  In the game, you take on the role of Isaac Clark, a space engineer on an intergalactic mining ship called the Ishimura.  Obviously being in space there will be plenty of aliens to battle.  Some may also consider the title to be a space-horror game as well.  Enjoy the screens!

We’ve seen some really terrible films this year, but it looks like some good ones will be hitting screens everywhere this winter. One film we’re all looking forward to is ‘The Spirit’ which is based on Will Eisner’s classic comic strip and re-told by Frank Miller for the big screen.  Two new posters feature Eva Mendes and Scarlett Johansson and the art certainly has Frank Miller written all over it.

Fable 2 will hit shelves later this year and we’re holding our breaths here at Kezins.com.  I was fooled with Fable 1 and I am taking a real cautious approach with the second game.  We were promised the best thing since sliced bread with the first game and it turned out to be good, yet nothing close to the outlandish promises.  How great will Fable 2 be?  From what we’ve seen, it will be awesome, but we just don’t know yet…
