September could end up being the most exciting month of 2008 for Xbox 360 releases. Personally, I know I will be picking up at least 5 games in September. I’m sure Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be the top seller, but there are several other games that could surprise us. Which Xbox 360 titles are you planning to buy in September? In a move that further proves what we said a while back about the “Qore” initiative Sony launched a couple weeks back, subscribers and those who purchase Episode 4 of the series will get into the Motorstorm: Pacific Rift a month early before anyone else does.
Now, wasn’t it PS3 fanboys who complained about not having to pay for premium demos like on Xbox 360? Difference is: you get demos a week later if you don’t pay for Xbox Live…in this case, it’s a month.
To be fair, though, at least you don’t have to be a loyal subscriber to “Qore” and you can just buy the episode for $2.99. Hate to do it, but this writer might just dump a couple bucks to play the demo…dammit, Sony!
‘Dark Horizon’ keeps looking better and better with each new trailer. Some have compared the space combat simulation to Wing Commander and Freelancer. With a rich plot and 22 missions, this game may actually end up being one of the best space combat games we have ever seen. We expect to see the title on shelves at the end of this month for the PC.
Living in America, we all know that smoking cigarettes is probably the worst sin you can possibly take part in. I’m actually a long time smoker myself, but hopefully I’ll quit in the next month or so. The Japanese recently modified the Kool cigarette to help out smokers who simply aren’t getting enough flavor with every draw. The modification is a simple one where a tiny ball inside the filter can be squeezed to shoot extra flavor into the smoke you are inhaling. At first I thought it was a joke, but then I remembered that the Japanes introduce really odd things like this on a daily basis. The Kool “Boosts” were originally designed in 2007.

The latest report by the NPD, which tracks video game sales in America, has come in and with it some interesting results.
One of the things speculated from last month’s sales numbers was that the console-selling boost GTA IV was supposed to provide Microsoft and Sony would happen this month, as Rockstar’s game arrived late in April.
This wasn’t so as the Xbox 360 and PS3 sold about the same this month, which lends some credibility to the prediction that the people who bought the game already had either system long beforehand. Wii, as its been doing since launch, reigns supreme…

After a month long hiatus, Destructoid’s GameJew returned with another interesting singing review. I’ll be honest that this is the first time I have even though about City Connection (NES) in many, many years. Although it wasn’t really a great game or anything, I did enjoy playing it back in the day for what it was worth.

‘Mana-Khemia: Gakuen no Renkinjutsu Shitachi Portable’ will be shipping at the end of this month. If you didn’t get a chance to play the PS2 version, the PSP port is a great option. The official website has been updated with new information concerning gameplay and 2-player mode. Apparently the game will support 2-players via ad hoc.

… a couple of days so don’t worry! Well, it’s almost a month, but hey cut Bioware some slack. The game is almost finished part from final polish and some optimizations, and now it’s all about play testing and distributing issues that needs to get sorted out.
Being a huge fan of the game I am really excited to see it in super high resolution, and without any technical fuck-ups the 360 version was riddled with.
And being so excited actually means that we here at Kezins.com will have a complete run through of the PC version as soon as it gets out. What’s new, what’s been scratched, and how it feels wasd:ing a conversation wheel and biotic powers will be covered here at launch of the game. So stay tuned on June 6th, because I live in Sweden (sorry), and we’ll give you a personal and exciting impression of the game.
