We thought we had seen all of the cheap Guitar Hero knockoffs but yet another one pops up.  This time it’s Guitar Praise for the PC.  Unlike other GH knockoffs, this one actually costs more than the real thing with the price tag of $99.95.  You can currently pick up Guitar Hero III (PC) with guitar for about $70.  I guess if you want to rock out with Jesus, you’ll be paying extra.

You can pre-order this game to make sure you get your copy in September from the company website. Here’s their description of the experience:

Grab the guitar and play along with top Christian bands! Shred those riffs or blast the bass…you add a unique sound to the solid Christian rock. But watch out: if you can’t keep up, the artists will take a break and stop the music. Crank it up and try again youll soon be rockin’ with the best while praising the Lord!  Order the second guitar and jam with a friend!

Here’s the playlist via Gizmodo (I haven’t heard of any of these people):

While it comes as no surprise that a game with “Grand Theft Auto” in the title would go on to sell millions upon millions, it does come as a bit of a surprise that it has beaten ALL of Nintendo’s console offerings, saleswise.

NPD has reported that Grand Theft Auto IV has gone and sold a cool $6,293,000 in North America and Europe (the game will be out shortly in Japan). Followed closely by Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, and Guitar Hero III, in order.

Kezins.com wasn’t able to trek out to the smog-filled vistas that the Los Angeles’ downtown sprawl has to offer this year for E3, but we will be filling you in on some of the more exciting things coming out of the week-long “festivities.”

The biggest show stopper was the reveal that Final Fantasy XIII is no longer a Sony exclusive and the PS3 version will be releasing alongside an Xbox 360 version day and date in the U.S. and Europe, as Perez just reported.

Hit the link for a quick rundown of everything else that was revealed, shown, and affirmed (as the pre-E3 leaks can attest to)…

The latest report by the NPD, which tracks video game sales in America, has come in and with it some interesting results.

One of the things speculated from last month’s sales numbers was that the console-selling boost GTA IV was supposed to provide Microsoft and Sony would happen this month, as Rockstar’s game arrived late in April.

This wasn’t so as the Xbox 360 and PS3 sold about the same this month, which lends some credibility to the prediction that the people who bought the game already had either system long beforehand. Wii, as its been doing since launch, reigns supreme…

Hardware Sales:

1. Wii - 675,100
2. DS - 452,600
3. PS3 - 208,700
4. Xbox 360 - 186,600
5. PSP - 182,300
6. PS2 - 132,700

For software sales, hit the break…
