We heard people were beta testing Killzone 2 in Europe and the following leaked video from PlayStation Universe confirmed our suspicions. The gameplay shows off various menus and some gameplay. Any video that starts off with some random dude flipping the dual bird at us and has White Zombie’s Thunder Kiss ‘65 as the background song is an instant winner in our book.

Jim Sterling recently posted an article on Destructoid concerning the issue of Street Fighter IV and lag. Apparently, the biggest problem facing the Capcom team and Street Fighter IV is major lag during online battles. Hopefully, the can fix the issue, because poor online gameplay due to major lag will certainly bury this game’s hopes of being one of the best fighting games. Here’s what Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono had to say:
“Obviously lag will be a huge problem for online play. We’re working on it. It’s quite difficult for 3D Street Fighter at the moment,” explained Ono. “In order to prevent the lag we’re thinking about trying to balance it up at [the] user interface level and input timing. We still haven’t got a complete plan as yet. We’re still working on it. That’s all we can say at the moment.”
Street Fighter IV may be the coolest fighting game I have ever seen in the visual department, so we can only hope everything else falls in place. I’ve never been a huge fan of Street Fighter, but the interesting visuals in SF IV have certainly peaked my interest in the series.
Looking to step in the ring with a bunch of sweaty, muscular men? Ok, good, me neither but now’s your opportunity to get as close with TNA iMPACT! as you want. This new Trailer shows just how good these graphics will look in gameplay mode. You can smell the testosterone off Big Poppa Pump’s forearms.
My interest in the Tomb Raider series has dwindled over the past few games, but Underworld might be enough to suck me back into the franchise. The following clip is the first official gameplay video. After watching the following video, I’m sure your interest will be peaked as well. Underworld promises to bring many new aspects to the franchise and that’s exactly what we needed.
Some may think that portable gaming already has enough puzzle games, but I believe there’s certainly room for ‘Colour Cross’, the paint-by-numbers style puzzle-strategy game for the Nintendo DS. The game by Rising Star will include 150 puzzles and should keep any casual gamer happy for many hours. The game should be on shelves in November. I have yet to see any gameplay footage, but I’m sure it’s out there somewhere. Feel free to drop a link in comments below if you know where to find it. New screens were recently sent out and we have posted them below:
Thought gaming on the iPhone was a joke? Check out the following video of ‘GTS World Racing’ and it may change your mind. While I don’t think the iPhone will take much business away from the Sony PSP or Nintendo DS, it’s certainly going to take some. The quality of gameplay and graphics really surprised me with this title. I am so accustomed to crappy mobile games over the years, but it looks like the iPhone has really set a new standard…

We’ll all get a chance to play FaceBreaker on September 5. This will be the first good “cartoony” boxing title we’ve seen in a very long time. So far, all the screenshots and gameplay videos look great. If you happen to own a Wii, there will also be a different version of the game titled FaceBreaker K.O. Party released for that console.
