Ougon no Kizuna, the new RPG for Wii (scans)

August 28, 2008

The Nintendo Wii really needed more RPGs and the console is starting to deliver. Ougon no Kizuna, being developed by Jaleco, may be one of the more interesting RPGs to hit consoles in some time. It’s also nice to see Jaleco back in action. They made some really awesome games back in the 1980s.

The game is an action-RPG, where you will use the Wii Nunchuck in battle. I don’t know a lot about the game yet, but it certainly looks like a title we need to keep our eyes on.

‘Table Football’ Screens (Nintendo Wii)

August 14, 2008

European gamers will get the chance to check out ‘Table Football’ on the Wii tomorrow when it’s released. It’s a shame there’s no North American release scheduled at this time. Table football or foosball as we call it in the states is probably one of the greatest social games ever invented next to beer pong.

New ‘FaceBreaker’ Screens (360/PS3)

August 7, 2008

We’ll all get a chance to play FaceBreaker on September 5. This will be the first good “cartoony” boxing title we’ve seen in a very long time. So far, all the screenshots and gameplay videos look great. If you happen to own a Wii, there will also be a different version of the game titled FaceBreaker K.O. Party released for that console.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed UK Packshots

July 25, 2008

The official ‘Force Unleashed’ covers for the United Kingdom (UK) release of the title are finally out there.  They all look pretty much the same, but we figured we’d go ahead and upload all of them for your viewing pleasure.  We’re not sure at this point which version will be the best for your money, but our bets are on the 360 and PS3 versions. The Wii version also ads the fun aspect of light saber fighting.

Ball Caps of the KKK

July 24, 2008

I recently received this strange email encouraging me to check out the KKK website.  I guess they didn’t realize I was Catholic.  I’m also open-minded and love all people, so they certainly aren’t using targeted marketing techniques. Out of curiosity, I checked out their softheaded website that looks like a 8 year-old designed it.  I came across some links where they sell various products such as hats, t-shirts, bumper stickers and more.  While most of the hat logos are racist, a few are actually clever and some are simply disturbing.  One claims the KKK is “the last hope for America”.  If that band of mental defects are our last hope, we might as well pack our bags and give up now.  The most clever hat states that KKK members are the “Original Boyz N The Hood”.  I suppose they are.  If you want to check out the other ball caps Klan members are sporting, I dropped a gallery below of all the images.  Just please tell me you aren’t going to order any of them!

Rumor: Photos Of The New PSP Model (PSP-3000)

July 22, 2008

New images of the “PSP-3000″ originating from China have been all over the internet today. Many sites are claiming that this is proof that there is a new PSP model currently in production. The photos aren’t high quality enough for me to decide, so believing is up to you.  If these are correct by chance, it looks like it has a built-in mic and several changes to the physical appearance of the system.
