Some sad news surfaced today. The “Shogun of Harlem” Julius Carry III passed away last night, but few details are available. Sho’Nuff was probably one of the greatest villains in movie history. While the film was a critical disappointment at the time, it was a financial success and is considered by many to be one of the greatest cult classics of the 1980s. Carry’s most famous line from the film was “Kiss My Converse” which has been used time and time again by other films and in rap songs and videos. Carry was 56 when he passed away.
