When it comes to video game characters, it’s hard not to love Mario.  The problem with Mario on the web is that just about everything that could possibly be done to him has already been done.  In the middle of an odd conversation about Ernst Ruska, the thought came to our heads that no one has ever posted (that we know of) an image of what Mario might look like under an electron microscope, so we decided to give it our best shot.

Since we already know Bungie is NOT working on Halo 4, I guess they need to stretch Halo 3 for everything it’s worth. The “Hired Gun” at Microsoft Game Studios will be developing Halo 4 and it should come out sometime in 2010 at the Xbox 720 launch. While browsing various blogs on the net, I came across an obviously edited condom photo that was definitely worth posting. The wrapper says “Finish the F**k” which could really have multiple meanings depending on your opinion of the series. The image was posted on Girl Gamers, but they didn’t mention where they found it.

Who doesn’t want to put ‘mallow’ over everything? If you say I don’t I’m calling you crazy, kid. I got a fever, and the only “over-the-counter” prescription is ‘more mallow’. I say fire up your proton packs, be sure not to cross the beams, and shoot.

The full cast is back in Ghostbusters: The Video Game. The game’s storyline is being written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, the writers of the original films. They, along with Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson, will also lend their voices and likenesses to the game. Several supporting cast members, such as William Atherton (Walter Peck), Brian Doyle-Murray (as the new mayor of New York) and Annie Potts (Janine) have also signed on; however, Rick Moranis (Louis Tully) has refused to be a part of the game, explaining his reluctance to work after the death of his wife and being a single parent

Coming to PS3, X360, Wii, PC, DS and PS2.

Release Dates: September 26th for UK, October 28 for US

I’ve seen some unfortunate landings during my time in Liberty City but the above crash certainly outdoes the typical blunder.  When taking short cuts in Liberty City, you honestly never know what random event will take place.  Many people love the GTA series for the outlandish humor and violence, but I continue playing for the random sequences of events that you control.  Even when you think everything is going your way, something crazy will happen.  This is what the author of the video has to say about the events:

I just completed a mission and was driving back when I thought I would make a short cut. Turns out I couldn’t of picked the worst place to cut through.

Faces are everything for game companies. Popular faces…even better. This past week has seen the continuing battle between Ninja Gaiden creator, Tomonobu Itagaki, and his former employer, Tecmo, as the face of the company has left. Itagaki has turned his resignation in and is due out July 1st.

The main scuffle was that Team Ninja’s main man did not receive bonuses for his work on Dead or Alive 4 and was suggested that if he didn’t like the goings-on, he’d quit or sue.

Well, he did both and the aftermath hasn’t been pretty.

I have no idea why anyone on the planet still uses Internet Explorer, but I guess there has to be some legitimate reason.  Anyway, I discovered this image today when I was sifting through stories on reddit:

If we install everything proposed by Internet Explorer…

The real question should be “Why would you install Internet Explorer in the first place?”

10 new screens were recently released by Capcom. We still don’t know everything about El Fuerte, but all the screen shots featuring the new SF character look good. The following 10 screens feature him fighting in Africa and Brazil.
