It’s fairly obvious by the above image that some of us at Kezins are not big fans of the insane ramblings of Zero Punctuation. Despite our lack of positive feelings for the videos, they seem to continue their popularity. The fact that nearly every episode of Zero Punctuation makes it to the front page of Digg.com certainly says that there’s a lot of people who continue to support the series. Hopefully no one takes this too seriously. We’re just poking fun at Yahtzee who seems to poke fun at all games. If you’ve never seen one of the crazy videos we’re talking about, here’s an example:
The NES may be a thing of the distant past, but the games continue to live on. When it comes to various collectibles, Zelda and Mario certainly have more items out there. While surfing Etsy.com I came across these interesting earrings selling for $16.00. There’s only one pair available and they definitely look like an interesting find.
I started Kezins.com back in March and have been developing the project ever since. We’re currently in need of some volunteer bloggers who would like to get their feet wet in online blog journalism. I started out blogging on a volunteer basis myself until I moved on to work as a news editor and marketing assistant for Ziff Davis Game Media. I have since returned to the world of freelance blogging, but have enjoyed every moment of it.
If you are a gamer interested in having your opinions heard, we’re certainly looking for you. Kezins.com isn’t a strict site like most corporate outlets. There wouldn’t be any deadlines and we wouldn’t limit your creativity, as long as the material isn’t grossly obscene.
We desperately need some people who have interests in the following areas:
Nintendo DS
Sony PSP
PC Gaming
Retro Gaming
If any of those fit your interests, email kezins@kezins.com with what you’d be interested in doing and we’ll get back to you. While we do run some ads on the site, we’re not quite profitable yet. Once the site builds up and we begin to grow, some paid opportunities may open up.
For some reason our eNews & Updates form at the top of the site wasn’t working, but we have it fixed for your viewing pleasure. If you’d like to receive updates from our site, this is the easiest way to get them. Subscribing to the feed will send our daily content to your inbox, which is a lot more convenient than having to check an RSS feed or browse the site each day. We’d still appreciate a comment here and there though. You can use the form at the top right of our site or the one I posted below. Thanks for checking out our site!
This hasn’t been the most exciting week in video game news, but there’s always something worth checking out. If you want to send us an article link in the future, feel free to send it to tips@kezins.com. We read articles from hundreds and hundreds of game blogs each week, but we’ll always miss something. It’s not possible to catch every story out there. If you have a site you’d like us to check out, feel free to contact us. Here’s our picks for the top news in video games for the weekend:
Let me warn you and say the link is NSFW. But this chick really knows how to get with the hottest character in Halo. The Master Chief! Owen Good over at Kotaku, linked this story back to GamerFetish.com. But be warned the site is very (Not safe for work)
I’ve never been a big fan of Halo 3, I know I’m nuts, but if anyone would get me to play, Ann Angel could help charge my Xbox controller. Kezins would like to ask you gamers, do sexy women featured with video games help sell the game?
Again, listen to Tony Clifton, this link is very NSFW! Gamerfetish.com
Love the smurfs shirt, I wonder if she’s an 80’s chick?

We write a ton of posts on Kezins.com, so it doesn’t take long for an article to work it’s way off the front page and into the abyss where some people may never find them. Because of this, we have decided to post links to our most popular articles from the week each Saturday. Some articles may be from long ago, yet still popular like Juan’s “7 Greatest Video Game Urban Legends”. If you’d like to see our all-time most popular posts, just click on Top Posts at the top menu.
GameDaily recently assembled some of the better game journalists in the business including my old blogging partner Daniel Perez of FileFront. If the last name sounds familiar, that’s because his brother Juan just happens to be the senior editor of Kezins.com. The discussions from the journalists are interesting, but I was wondering where I was when the invites were being handed out. Just kidding… The panel discussion was interesting as the journalists talked about what games they were currently playing. Check out the link below to find out what the writers are playing!
Before Kezins, this writer got his start on R3match.com. We started a podcast on the site, but busy lives and conflicting schedules made it possible for only a few shows last year. Finally, we’ve got our “ish” together and have brought the R3match Radio Podcast back!
Listen in as Jason and yours truly dissect the latest in gaming and ramble on in this special “Resurrection Show.” 23-minutes of awesomeness awaits you here.
Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten ALL the kinks worked out yet, so to download you might want to try Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. If you just want to listen, any browser will work.
