The guys from Antiques Roadshow check out one of the most interesting video game collections I have ever seen including games like ‘Lock Jaw’ that’s worth $4,000. The Keno brothers interview Joe Santulli who runs Digital Press Videogames in an interesting segment of ‘Collect This!’ Check out the video HERE!
About the Keno brothers:
Identical twin brothers Leslie Keno and Leigh Keno have been treasure hunting for more than 30 years and are considered foremost experts on antiques and collectibles. They have excited and enlightened audiences across the country with their lectures and regular appearances on PBS’ Emmy-nominated hit, Antiques Roadshow. Leigh owns and operates Leigh Keno Traditional Modern in New York City and Leslie is Senior Vice President and Director of American Furniture and Decorative Arts at Sotheby’s in New York.
The game we’ve been waiting several years for is just about ready to be unleashed on the world. To check out the first official trailer and webcast for the game, check out www.StarTrekOnline.com. The video and webcast were first shown at the annual Star Trek convention in Las Vegas over the weekend. Set in the year 2409, you will be able to captain a Federation or Klingon ship throughout the known galaxy. Many Star Trek games have failed in the past, but I have a really good feeling about this one.
[Editor’s Note: Walking down the aisles of your favorite retailer you’ll see movies that you’ve never heard of. Even if you’d like to know how they fare no one cares enough to review them! That’s where “Movie Watch” comes in…oh, and we’ll try to cover movies on Xbox Live from time to time. Because if you’re gonna spend those confusing Microsoft points on something other than games, it better be worth it, right?]
The movie adaptation of the PlayStation 2 game, Yakuza, will be screening tomorrow at the IFC Center in New York for the Asian Film Festival at 2:10PM. How does it fare?
I wouldn’t call below a spoiler because it should NOT have an impact towards the game. The only spoiler is that you’re watching the video before the game’s release. No biggie, check it out and [insert option here] laugh, cry, wince or sour beer face. Watch the video you freaking baby!
If you simply can’t wait for some Metal Gear Solid 4 action, you can at least check out the ladders on R3Match that have already been set up. Sign up your team or as an individual to prepare for the June 15, 2008 launch. Despite the fact that Konami has pretty much tried to threaten the press when it comes to reviews on the title, I feel that it’s still going to be a bad ass experience. Aside from long load times and too many cut scenes, the gameplay looks awesome.
If you haven’t seen the new Guitar Hero drums, check out the video below. What really impresses me is the fact that the drums are velocity sensitive. The new GH drums also make Rock Band’s look like child’s play. The way things are looking, the next installation of Guitar Hero may be just enough to get me away from Rock Band.
Made for television movies are usually terrible, but for some reason ‘The Andromeda Strain’ actually looks like it could be worth watching. I might take a break this evening from gaming and check out the first part of the miniseries. I have been feeling let down by my entertainment choices this week after watching Indiana Jones IV, so maybe this will be a surprising delight.
Sadly, Flavor Of Love came to an end once again, but we’ll continue to find out more about the girls who were on the show in the next few months. Recently, Candace “Black” Cabrera sat down and played GTA IV with our friends, the Konsole Kingz. According to them, she’s an active gamer and recently finished playing Uncharted, probably my favorite PS3 game. Check out the via link below and check out their blog.
If you are too lazy to pick up the Wii Fit Demo DVD at your local store, check out the above video. It gives you a pretty good idea of what kind of training you should expect from Wii Fit.
For several weeks, I have noticed that the #1 search terms leading to our site happen to be “Lara Croft Nude”, so I decided to go ahead and let that search string pay off this time. The following image is from deviantART and probably NSFW but also not porn either. Sorry pervs! The image is great for any of you 3-d digital art fans out there. If you are a deviantART fan, check out the link and give the author some props. I’ve been a member of deviantART for a long time and it’s a great place to check out fan art.
To view the full-size image, you’ll need to set up a free account with deviantART and be over 18. Continue reading »
