We’re big fans of GameTrailers TV here at Kezins and, as fans, we look forward to the usual breaking news and exclusive trailers the show provides. In case you guys missed it last night, their reveal Godfather II episode made an exclusive mention of a Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo landing on Xbox Live and PSN this Thursday, August 21.

Kezins got a chance to play the same demo at Comic Con in July and we came away impressed with how fun the force powers were to use. Fun enough that we forgot we had a lightsaber with us the whole time.

Considering the likely quality of Quest for Booty, Galaga Legions, and the above mentioned demo releasing this week, we must be heading into fall early this year.

The XB01 is a chassis replacement for the XBox 360 chassis, which alleviates heating issues from hot components and reduces noise from vibrating optical drives in the original case design. The PC-XB01 requires DIY knowledge for the transfer of components, but once completed, heat will no longer be a factor in dampening your XBox 360 gaming experience.

Lian Li is an executive upper-class aluminum PC chassis manufacturer, well renowned as the ultimate brand for modding and stylish designs. Those same attributes are incorporated in the PC-XB01. Including an all-aluminum black hair-line brushed anodized chassis. The case has the traditional filed edges to reduce sharp corners, as well as folded and handcrafted aspects synonymous with Lian Li’s superior quality and high safety standards.

The PC-XB01 is 160 x 250 x 415mm (W, D, H), giving lots of space for copious cool airflow. We’ve been seeing this story making the rounds online, but we decided to hold off on said postage from the lack of info. Well, for now at least, we know that GameStop and Amazon have kicked off their pre-order program for the upcoming LittleBigPlanet on PS3.

Those of you going with the lesser of two evils (in this case, Amazon) will get a Brady Games-sanctioned “LittleBigPlanet Creator” miniguide when the game ships out to you. GameStop patrons will be able to get their hands on an in-game Kratos, of God of War fame, which is actually split in four different parts: skin, goatee, blades and clothing.

As much as we adore GameStop’s “excellent” customer service, we have to hand it to them…they have the better deal — plus, no waiting to get your create-a-level on with shipping shenanigans.

Murder suspects on the run typically lay low and avoid public situations. In this case, 30-year-old Raymundo Castaneda thought it would be wise to hang out at a Wal-Mart in Jacksonville, Florida playing Guitar Hero while he was being tracked down for a murder in North Carolina. The U.S. Marshals were tipped off that he was there and stormed the store to capture the suspect. The interesting part of the story is how he was so focused on playing the game, he never noticed the feds moving in on him. They never mentioned in the article what song he was playing at the time.

Surveys are a regular thing in movies, TV, and video games. They’re conducted by “professionals” to learn from a group of people (test subjects) on just what they’ll be likely to buy. The above screen, sent in to Joystiq, represents some of the box art Electronic Arts might be pitching to potential buyers this fall.

Does it make you want to buy it? Does it evoke a need for it inside of you? Whatever the case, let’s hope EA and Harmonix will not neglect our ability to play our EXTENSIVE collection of songs already downloaded in the original for the sequel. As Mr. Juan Perez would say…”that is key.”

Usually, when a game is rated by the ESRB it means that the title will see release shortly thereafter, which might be the case with Yakuza 2. The “Mature” rated PS2 game will follow up on the gang-riddled events of the first game and GameStop has it slated for a Sept. 9 release date for the impulse buy price of $29.99.

The first game, released in Sept. 2006 for PS2, was a great brawler which replicated Tokyo’s nightlife district admirably as the backdrop for the engaging Japanese mafia story. Not only that, but the English voice acting was all done by professional actors (such as Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, and Kill Bill’s Michael Madsen) which will be absent from the sequel. Yakuza 2 will keep the original Japanese voices intact and provide English subtitles, but trust us, judging by the poor acting in the first, it wont be missed.

The next change for the series? Taking the setting a few centuries back in Japan’s history for Yakuza 3, which was released overseas in March.

Typically, “the making of” videos are extremely boring and worth passing on. In this case, the video for My Baby UK was interesting and worth a quick view. I’ve never played any kind of baby sims on my Nintendo DS, but apparently there are a ton of people interested in this sort of thing…
