“In 1945, the Nazis went to the Moon. In 2018, They are Coming Back,” so ends the teaser trailer for “Iron Sky,” just before a flying rat (get all 200 of them in GTA, yet?) craps on the Third Reich Eagle.

Funny? Very.

For some reason, people love Nazi-themed anything. Whether that may stem from being able to blow up Hitler’s head in the original Bionic Commando (Spoiler? Oh, noes!) or otherwise, Energia Productions, Blind Spot Pictures and Cinet, collectively, run with the concept in “Iron Sky.” There is no release date mentioned, but the plan is to distribute it on film and over the Interwebs.

Judging from the trailer, the movie already looks to be on the right track — just listening to the emotion-packed song in the background while the ridiculous concept is presented is proof of that. The comedy serves as a follow-up to “Star Wreck,” which the creators claim was the “most popular Internet feature film of all time.”

Nazis build a secret base in Antarctica to go to the moon and set up shop on its dark side? Oh, yes…sign us up.
