Halloween is just around the corner, so we thought it would be a great idea to post some full-length horror films throughout the month on the site.
Didn’t catch ‘28 Days Later‘ in theaters back in 2002? Now is your chance to watch one of my favorite modern horror films. I’m still surprised they haven’t tried to make a next-generation video game based on this film. While most zombie films are cliche and rather boring, ‘28 Days Later‘ found a way to present the genre in an exciting and refreshing manner. Despite a limited release in the United States, the film brought in a surprising $45 million. I love zombie films and I’d have to say I can’t think of any other that has the style and uncompromising story we find with 28 Days…
Danny Boyle seems to be a real hit or miss director and this film was certainly a hit. You may remember his work on Trainspotting. If you somehow missed that film, it’s probably one of my top 50 films to watch. I’ll stop rambling and let you check out the movie below. If you love fast zombies, action, a good soundtrack and great acting, this is one horror movie you shouldn’t miss.
