There’s a train to catch, a nation to save and don’t forget to buy those tickets! Agent U.S.A. made its debut on the Commodore 64 in 1984!
There are few games I can tell you I remember playing when I was a kid. Thanks to my older brother, Agent U.S.A. was one of them. I never understood how crystals regenerated, nor why you had to collect them. I guess this was Scholastic’s way of using it as credit. 1984 was not the home video market it is today, but we had these “educational” games that really made you scratch your little brain. When Agent U.S.A. came out I was 4, so to know how the train system worked was beyond my comprehension. Actually, I’m 27 now and … ahh forget it.
I finally got the chance to check out this week’s South Park episode everyone has been talking about. Just when you thought the show couldn’t get any funnier or cruder, they release “The China Probrem” which included a sub-story about George Lucas and Steven Spielberg raping Indiana Jones. This episode instantly goes into my top ten all-time most offensive South Park episodes. Did they really rape Indiana Jones? I’m afraid so. The episode was full of numerous rape scenes and d*ck shootings. They even re-enact the “pig boy” scene from Deliverance. It sounds exceedingly crude from a distance, but what else can we expect from South Park? If you are looking for something PC, don’t watch the following video. Did South Park go way too far this time? Part of me honestly says they went a little far. Part of me believes it was cynical and shouldn’t be taken seriously… Continue reading »
Capcom has promised and today delivered their latest Resident Evil 5 Trailer at TGS.
Coming to a PS3 and 360 near you, Resident Evil 5 takes you into Africa where.. you guessed it there’s an epidemic. The trailer is narrated by Chris Redfield, yes the same. He explains that Umbrella’s bio weapons fell into the hands of terrorists and spread across the world. Who else would create a world disturbance?
The Nintendo Wii has been a success in all corners of the world. I even heard reports that they are playing Wii Bowling in the caves of Afghanistan and even in remote locations such as Canada. While surfing YouTube, I discovered an interesting Korean Wii commercial. Enjoy!
We have posted some cool LittleBigPlanet videos in the past couple of weeks, but this one may be the most interesting. While some people play games to take a break from learning, a user created a level on LBP that’s one huge real-time calculator. Check it out…
The podcastin’ crew at R3match Radio dug into someone’s “shoe box” this week along with an interesting chat about Rockstar’s upcoming Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and some of the outrage over it.
Official word from the site:
This week we have a bit of shock with the Warioland YouTube video, Jason still doesn’t get Bioshock, Carlos talks up Rock Band 2, and Juan gives us some insight into Wipeout HD. Listen in and get your fix of the latest news in gaming while our trio craps all over them.
Nintendo unveiled Punch-Out!! announced for the Wii. Here’s the debut trailer, featuring none other than Little Mac.
I’m very impressed to see Nintendo keep this games hushed for so long. But now was a good time to let it be known because when Nintendo talks, Nintendo Fans listen… and pray. Punch-Out!! will feature the original cast of the NES minus Mike Tyson :( I wonder if Glass Joe finally upped his record from the disappointing 1-99!
User created LitleBigPlanet levels will probably be all the PS3 rage for the next few weeks. We decided to take a look at some of our favorites. The above YouTube clip features AsianHeights by “Plugpin”. If this is a sign of things to come, LBP should be providing us with exciting content for a long, long time.
Ariel, one of our favorite commenters, pointed us to Hulu, an on-demand streaming video site, a few weeks ago and this writer is definitely HOOKED. Productivity has seriously been on a downhill curve after visiting with TV shows one has missed because of the annoying thing called “life” and “schoolwork.”
Sure, the site’s main goal, probably, is to attract some of the attention ADD-infused Americans miss out on with the inconvenience of scheduled programming. Regardless, now you can watch a lot of popular shows (”It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “The Moment of Truth,” and plenty others) whenever you want — might even give you a reason to get rid of that pricey TiVo service. We heard people were beta testing Killzone 2 in Europe and the following leaked video from PlayStation Universe confirmed our suspicions. The gameplay shows off various menus and some gameplay. Any video that starts off with some random dude flipping the dual bird at us and has White Zombie’s Thunder Kiss ‘65 as the background song is an instant winner in our book.
