Is your 20gb, 40gb, 60gb or 80gb getting full?  For $83.90 + free shipping we got an upgrade for your PS3 that you can’t pass up.

PlayStation 3 Demos are great.  Heck, they saved me from purchasing some iffey’s and helped me decide which game is worth picking up.  One problem with demos… they take up too much space on my 60gb PS3!  I’ve been very careful over the past 3 months, deleting old demos I’ve liked but had to make room for new ones.  With the price of hard drives dropping, this decision is a no brainer.  Demos and now some newer games will require me to expand my PS3 storage.  (Soul Calibur IV offers better load times if you install it on your PS3).

Check out where to buy it below:

While surfing reddit, I came across a submission titled “Man being jailed for MANGA. [NON-LINKJACKED]” which was submitted by “masta“. After having a run-in with “masta” and his team who I believe run a mass up-vote/down-vote operation (very similar to the shady “DIgg” teams we all love to hate on Digg.com), I tend to ignore anything this guy posts. For some reason, the title sounded interesting. I was wondering how someone could possibly be on trial for simply having Manga. Who doesn’t have a little Manga lying around?

After reading the article linked to the reddit submission, it became very clear to me that the title on reddit and on the article were extremely misleading. The article’s title is “CBLDF Serves As Consultant in PROTECT Act Manga Case”.  So far, everything I have seen on the internet concerning the case either does not mention that this is a child porn case or they don’t mention any specifics until you are a ways into the article. The first sentence of the article:

The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund has signed on as a special consultant to the defense of Chistopher Handley, an Iowa collector who faces up to 20 years in prison for possession of manga.

I’ll be looking into this case a little more, but he’s certainly not on trial for having Manga in his house.  This guy had manga that the government claims was obscene.  If you are interested in the story, definitely check out the via link below but don’t read too much into it.  There aren’t enough facts shown in the article for anyone to have a legitimate opinion.  Right now, I am left wondering if his rights were violated or if he’s a scum bag who liked reading animated child porn.

Ariel, one of our favorite commenters, pointed us to Hulu, an on-demand streaming video site, a few weeks ago and this writer is definitely HOOKED. Productivity has seriously been on a downhill curve after visiting with TV shows one has missed because of the annoying thing called “life” and “schoolwork.”

Sure, the site’s main goal, probably, is to attract some of the attention ADD-infused Americans miss out on with the inconvenience of scheduled programming. Regardless, now you can watch a lot of popular shows (”It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “The Moment of Truth,” and plenty others) whenever you want — might even give you a reason to get rid of that pricey TiVo service. Apple’s iPhone and RIM’s Blackberry better watch their backs, Google’s ‘G1′ is now on their turf!

The ‘3G’ is soo 2008, Google’s latest technology the ‘G1′ is tomorrow’s phone! Very harsh words, I know, but when the world largest search engine makes a move, many tech geeks follow. The new ‘G1′ resembles the iPhone touch screen with the Blackberry Curves trackball and T-mobile’s Sidekick slide-out keyboard. Currently set for sale at $179 on October 22nd through T-mobile’s network with a two-year contract. Britain in November and other European countries early next year.

The ‘G1′ is optimized for wi-fi hotspots, but will also run on T-mobile’s slower network. T-mobile’s data plan, which is needed to receive email or surf the web, will run you an extra 25 bucks.

Google is giving away Android, the software that underlies the G1, for free, and opening the operating system to third-party developers who can create their own programs. Google hopes that in turn, mobile phones will provide even more ways for people to interact with the company’s advertising network.

It may seem like a thing of ancient technology, but the integrated circuit only turned 50 today.  It was originally invented back in 1958 by Jack Kilby of Texas Instruments.  These miniaturized circuits make all of our small devices possible these days.  It may not seem like a huge deal, but we owe a lot to the invention of this important equipment.
