About Us

My name is Will Snizek, a freelance games blogger and lifetime fan of anything related to video games. In addition to video games, I enjoy art, photography, traveling, sports and politics. I started this blog at the end of March, 2008 to create a forum where I could express my love for all things gaming and also topics outside of gaming. I have been working as a video game writer for several years, including a long stint with Ziff Davis Media Game Group as a news editor and marketing assistant. Tired of the corporate way of things, I formed Kezins.com with Juan Perez. If you haven’t figured it out, “Kezins” is my last name spelled backwards.

The basic goal of our blog is to report on news that centers on the video game industry. However, I also wanted to cover news outside of gaming such as “nerd news” and “entertainment” topics that I felt would be interesting to potential readers. Unlike most blogs, there will never be a clearly drawn line of topics on this site. We will publish posts on ANY topic that interests us at the time. While this certainly varies from the typical game blog, we feel that it’s a way to show that we certainly care about more than just gaming, even if video games are our favorite activity.
Shortly after starting the blog, Carlos Macias of R3Match.com and Jesper Sellerberg joined the team and we’re certainly fortunate to have them working with us. All four of us are located in different parts of the known world and I felt this was a great way to add varied opinions to the site. We also formed an alliance of sorts with R3Match.com and look forward to the potential of that relationship.
Kezins.com is the destination for any web surfer looking to feed their addiction for the latest information on video games, gadgets, modern web culture, technology, music, movies, art and general news. Although our primary focus is on video games, we will often jump into many areas of interest such as horse racing or good celebrity gossip. If you are looking for an eclectic mix of articles, this is the place. You can basically consider us a directory if interesting things and stories. Our primary goal is to provide gamers with blog-style coverage of stories and developments related to video game and nerd news. Opinions on Kezins.com are not for sale and we will always post our honest impressions. Unlike corporate controlled blogs, we are able to give our un-censored opinions here at Kezins.com.
The site was founded in March, 2008 by Will Snizek (aka “Kezins”) after resigning from his position with Ziff Davis Media Game Group as a news editor and marketing assistant for Gaming Today (news.filefront.com).
Game Reviews
When reviewing games, we give them a score on the 0-10 scale, 10 being the best possible score. Our emphasis is on our review content itself as we hopefully provide gamers with enough information to make up their own mind about a game. While the 1-10 scale certainly isn’t perfect, it’s a good way for us to express our final opinion about a title.
