PSN’s latest Trophy support patch went live today for PixelJunk Monsters.  Get Patched already!

We mentioned all the trophies in our previous post, and since y’all have the memory of a zombie I felt I had to stop you from eating brains and patch up your PSN title, PixelJunk Monsters.  Coincidence Sony patched Pixel Junk Mosters before Halloween?  Doubt it!

PlayStation 3 fans, today is THE demo day you’ve been waiting for.  Mirror’s Edge arrives on the PSN!  Xbox Live members will get the demo on Halloween (Oct. 31st)

Releasing on November 11th in North America, Mirror’s Edge is a First Person shooter (FPS) powered by the Unreal Engine 3 with the addition of new lighting, developed by DICE.  Mirror’s Edge aims to “convey the strain and physical contact with the environment”, according to senior producer Owen O’Brien, and to instill a freedom of movement not yet seen in the first-person genre.

Keeping Track of Them Demos

With gaming season in full swing, companies are trying their damndest not to fall behind in gamers’ eyes. You guys keeping track?

Demos for Tomb Raider: Underworld and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts are now available on Xbox 360. Mirror’s Edge’s demo has been pushed up landing on PS3 tomorrow (Friday on Xbox Live) and those who pre-order Left 4 Dead can get their hands on some sweet zombie action November 6 (360/PC).

Find Fallout 3’s Useful Canine Companion

2008 looks to be the year of the dog in role-playing games — and flamethrower in FPSs — as gamers can already attest to in Fable II. That guy is…just helpful! Growling when enemies approach and barking when treasure is present.
