Wii Music Release Date Announced, Oct 20th Game Review: Yakuza 2 (PS2)
Sep 19

Nintendo’s Wii will be getting the love first on Monday, September 22, then PlayStation Network next Thursday, September 25. And in an unlikely turn of events, Xbox Live gets it last on October 1.

Considering how companies like to throw out release dates way in advance, it comes as a pleasant surprise how soon Mega Man 9 (for a measly $10) is upon us. Forces one to finally get to playing through Mega Man Anniversary Collection — equating to a very busy weekend.

The Wii version would seem like the most attractive version for us because of the remote’s “classic” look and feel. Where will you guys download?

[...] Simul-not releases for Mega Man 9 start dropping this week, but wha-? Is that good, Wii games we see down there? Looks like gamers can’t go wrong if they decide to put down fifty bones for de Blob or Mario’s fart-attack nemesis’ game, Warioland: Shake It!. Might give you a reason to dust off that Wii anyway. I’ve never played a Mega Man game, but I might try this just for the heck of it. I’m glad the Wii is getting some love with the early release date, but If I were to buy it, it would probably be on the Xbox 360 just because of achievements. Yeah, sometimes I’m kind of a point whore…

Understandable. I can be one at times, as well. I bought King Kong
mostly because of the easy 1000 Achievement Points :)

I would’ve gone with the Xbox Live release, but since its coming out
first on the Wii…gotta cure the itch I’m feeling there.

By the time x360 gets it, I’ll already have all my trophies! Wait a second, does it come with trophies?

    Umm…doubt it.

Haven’t heard that it will, anyway.
