The Top Girlfriend In GTA IV (Spoiler)

Now that I’ve dated every possible girl in GTA IV, I have made my pick for “top girlfriend”. It wasn’t really a hard choice, considering there’s some real negative aspects to most of the women you will date in the game. If you haven’t gotten deep into the game, keep in mind that some of the following information may spoil the story for you.
The first girl I met via the online matchmaking service in GTA IV was Carmen. She’s slightly useful considering she can give you a health boost via phone call, but she’s simply the most annoying character in the entire game. Once you have enough weapons and money, health boosts are something you’ll rarely need. The second girl I met online was Kiki Jenkins aka “Law Chick”, my choice for “top girlfriend” in GTA IV. You can also meet “Liberated Woman” on craplist.net, but she’s only good for clothing discounts and blogging about sex with Niko.
Kiki is a 32 year old lawyer who can be dated via online matchmaker. Unlike the other girls you meet in the game, Kiki is actually entertaining and not too annoying. She makes good money, yet feels guilty about being privelaged. She’s probably the best match for Niko considering she was looking for someone she could help. Her stories about wanting to help the world can be a bit depressing, but she at least has some substance to her. Her only shortcomings are the fact that she’s very clingy and probably fits the mold of “psycho girlfriend”. She’ll text you claiming she misses you and wants to do something soon, but when you call her back, she’ll ask you to wait longer for the next date. Once you get her to like you above 75%, she’ll eventually contact you and you will be granted the ability to lose 3 stars via phone call. Of course, this doesn’t work in certain missions.
When you dump Carmen, she simply goes away, but there’s really no point in dumping Kiki. If you do, she’ll continue to contact you anyway. Out of all the characters you come across in the game, she probably cares for Niko more than any of them. Kiki is certainly the jealous type and often talks in the 3rd person. Rockstar gave us some crappy girlfriends for the most part, but she’s certainly one that I didn’t mind.

Interesting point - but I am not sure that really explains the situation. With gas over $4 a gallon that changes everything.
