“Dude, you’re getting some rumble”

I’ll be interested to know if there will be full functionality on PS2 games played on the PS3. I was only able to play God of War 2 on my PS3 without rumble and it sucked, not that I noticed with the awesome graphics and gameplay and all… wait wasn’t this an article on aDualShock3?

I miss the days when you could buy 2 controllers for $50.

I’m frankly a little scared of the NEXT next gen consoles of the future.

A Playstation 4 in 2010 will probably cost $1,000, and I’ll buy it because I’m obsessed and I’m an idiot!

I’m honestly hoping that the next generation of consoles gets delayed a bit. I’m sure we’ll probably see them in 2010 or 2011, but I’d love to see the PS3 and X360 last until 2012. The main problem with consoles is the fact that they are replaced before they even hit their peaks.

I would have been happy playing my original XBox for another year or 2, but they stopped making games for it. I don’t regret buying the 360, but I think the original XBox still had some living to do.

An editorial in one major video game magazine said that the Dreamcast died too early.
I still like my Dreamcast. I think it was impressive for its time.
The Japanese are still making games for the Dreamcast ,or at least they were a year ago when I last went online shopping for imports. They’re keeping it alive over there, sort of.

Not only do the companies that make consoles roll them out too soon, but peer pressure makes us feel like losers if we don’t buy the new consoles on launch day.
People stand out in the rain with their small children at 6AM on launch day.
    That’s f**ked up.

And I suspect the companies could make enough consoles to meet consumer demand but they don’t want to. This is great for the jackholes who sell them on eBay for $1,000.

The Dreamcast was one of my all-time favorite systems. I actually have a strange mix of consoles hooked up to my big screen right now… an Atari 2600, Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube, N64, 360, PS3, Wii

    Surprisingly I play them all.

The launch thing is certainly true. The Wii is a perfect example. They are using a marketing method that has been used by some companies for many years. If you keep the shelf quantity very low, demand for the item will be high. Nintendo should be ashamed of themselves. Only an idiot would believe that they are having trouble keeping up with production.
