The Shocking Kane & Lynch Dead Men Ad Bee Oh Bee an Unique Adventure Casual Game is Released
Apr 11

Miz Calamity from GameGirl.com messaged me last night about an interesting contest they have going on, so I thought I’d share it with our readers. If you have never checked out their site, I suggest you do. Our industry certainly lacks mainstream gaming exposure from the female point of view and I’m hoping sites like this change the industry in the future. Check out the article for the contest HERE.

Do you think you are a fanboy or fangirl?
Do you collect, love, adore, play a certain system/game more than the others?
Are you borderline obsessed with Halo?
Will you fight to the death to defend your PS3?
Do you collect FF dolls action figures?
Prove it! We want your pictures proving what a fanboy you are!!!! Send them to tips4gamegirl@gmail.com and label your email ‘Fanboy’. Send entries in by April 13, 2008.

Thanks so much for putting this up. Due to the MLG weekend we extended the dates to April 20th =]

This contest looks cool. I’m glad that websites like that exist for women who play video games. I get sick of being asked “Are you buying this for your boyfriend?” when I buy a video game or video game magazine. And some chicks just make us look bad.
I cringe when they interview hot chicks on G4 and they call themselves gamers but can’t name a single video game. It sets women gamers back and makes us look like airheads.

yeah you should check out the site. I know a few of the writers there in real-life and they are definitely down-to-earth gamers. They also put up with a lot of retarded remarks like the “Are you buying this for your boyfriend?” you mentioned.
