Its always seemed kind of weird to have to “push to talk” in Halo 3 when the previous games in the series had no such restrictions. Especially, when games like CoD4 and Gears of War 2 have no problem open chatting.
“Different games. Different code.” We know, we know…but enough people must have complained that Bungie will be upping the “PTT” restriction up to 6 players from 4 with the upcoming January Matchmaking Update.
Bungie contends that it might make for laggier games, but we’ll just be glad to speak without added walkie-talkie functionality.

We haven’t heard much about this game, but we do know that Magna Carta: Crimson Stigma is currently being developed for the Xbox 360. This game is the sequel to Magna Carta: Tears of Blood for the PS2. While we don’t have any actual details on the game, we do have a couple character art images you might find interesting:

Kirby’s Dream Land 3 for the SNES was a pretty good game, and is worth the recession price of 800 wii points. It’s very hard to neglect a puffy pink ball, no matter how ugly he can look. Heck, remember this?
Sandy Beach on the other hand is a game that is priced right, just not the best time to play a summer game in the winter, sorry. Although I have to admit, I’m liking the ability to scour the beach using a metal detector hoping to find the lost city of Atlantis.
WiiWare
Sandy Beach (Konami, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone—Comic Mischief, 500 Wii Points): Enjoy a fun day at Sandy Beach as you build elaborate sand castles. You can work peacefully on your sand castle or enter into a battle with invading crabs in Crab Battle mode. Players will strategically build their sand castle and use cannons to defend it against an army of destructive crabs. After successfully defending your sand castle, discover beach treasures and additional cannons with your metal detector to customize your castle even more.
Virtual Console
Kirby’s Dream Land 3 (Super NES™, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 800 Wii Points): Kirby, Dream Land’s resident hero (and everyone’s favorite puffball), must once again save the day when the mischievous King Dedede starts causing trouble. Kirby must travel through an assortment of levels, battling an exotic array of enemies (both new and familiar) determined to stop him from completing his mission. Always armed with his trusty ability to swallow enemies and gain special attacks, Kirby can also unite with some of his animal friends and make use of their particular talents. Featuring detailed graphics, challenging boss battles and the distinct charm of a Kirby game, it’s no wonder this title is considered a classic.
Coming February 27th 2009, Chun Li will release a “spinning star kick” on you… and you’ll like it!
Today is officially “Music Monday” on Xbox LIVE. If you happen to own Lips, today is your time to shine. We definitely expect a lot of people to be playing this game on LIVE tonight. Unfortunately, you will not find me there since I can’t sing to save my life. I’ll probably be playing a little Halo 3 tonight.
We took a break last week from giving you the latest in gaming but, trust us, you didn’t miss much. Looks like things haven’t changed much either this week with the likes of Hotel for Dogs coming out for every system imaginable. Thank you, Disney — or whoever wasted money on making the movie — but we’ll pass on both the flick AND game.
PC gamers can look forward to their specially-tailored version of Saints Row 2. Just got done “solving it” on the ol’ 360 and it served up a good 15 hours of entertainment. A definite buy to tide you over before GTA IV’s DLC content releases next month.

It seems like the mainstream press has been all over the gaming world since the Nintendo Wii hit the scene, but they are almost always wrong with their reports. It certainly makes me wonder if their regular articles are flawed as well. This time People Magazine did an article called “Celebrate the ’80s” where they featured the Atari 2600 as the console that ruled the decade. Unfortunately for People, the Atari 2600 actually came out in 1977 and didn’t actually dominate the 1980s. The Nintendo Entertainment System actually out-sold the competition in the ’80s, but there was no mention of the system or any other system in the article. Way to go People!

Making our Kezins.com Video Game of the Year, Grand Theft Auto 4 definatley deserves to be part of your gaming library. And for the great price of $29, it should be purchased BEFORE many other titles.
This is certainly one of the oddest stories I have heard in a while, so here’s the short version:
A 26 year-old loser named Hath Blom of Portsmout, New Hampshire arrived at his grandparents house on Christmas to find that they had bought him a brand new Nintendo Wii. Most people are grateful to receive anything as a gift, but this dork was highly upset that they didn’t buy him a remote control airplane that he asked them for.
Apparently the guy was reprimanded by his girlfriend for his behavior and he decided to drag her down two flights of stairs by her hair. Apparently she got in a few punches and both of them were arrested. I assume neither of them spent too long in jail, but anyone who acts like an ass when receiving a gift deserves some hard-core torture…
